RDF Metadata Samples
Several samples of RDF metadata files illustrate the metadata schema and how it should be applied in practice.
Artifact : Abercar Inscribed Stone
This example illustrates how to describe an artifact (a standing stone) that has a textual inscription. Since the text of the inscription is short, it is given inline in the RDF file (rather than supplying a URL to a separate text file).
The website that contains the online database is arranged with frames; it is not indexed by the specific artifact. This means that the <rdfs:seeAlso> element points to the website generally, rather than to the specific artifact.
